Catering to the experienced angler as well as the new comer to this exciting sport. Your guide will instruct you on casting techniques, entomology, knot tying, fly selection, equipment overview as well as reading water and proper catch and release handling practices and playing fish to ensure their survival. From large freestone streams in pursuit of some of the larger resident trout to prowling headwater streams for little wild jewels in classic stair step pools. A guided fly fishing trip with one of Smoky Mountains On The Fly's knowledgeable guides is a great way to learn the art of this rewarding pastime and jump-start your learning curve on the techniques necessary to be successful in the smokies. Western North Carolina's premier streams   Rates for Guide Service Full day trip: $225.00/one angler and $300.00/two anglers Half day trip: $150.00/one angler and $225.00/two anglers Quality equipment can and will be provided for use on all trips if needed, as equipment should be pleasing to use and not a struggle. Good quality equipment will make your day on the stream a more pleasing experience, as it should be. Flies for the day are also provided. Half Day trips include snacks and beverages. Plan on 4 -5 hours for a half day trip, including travel time. great for the angler pressed for time visiting with family and friends and still looking to get some time in the water. Full Day trips include lunch and beverages. Plan on 8 -9 hours for a full day trip, including travel time. I need to know ahead of time of any special dietary restrictions or physical limitations so that changes in the planned day or days can be made accordingly. We require a deposit of $75.00 to reserve a date. Trips are booked on a first come first serve basis. Cancellation Policy: Deposit is refundable if cancellation is made 7 days prior to trip date.
