Tuckaseigee River cleanup on April 15th

Members, Jon Phillips, Craig Forrest, Jerry Dewese, Randy Ashe, Steve Yurkovich and Delos Montieth turned out for the cleanup effort. We cleaned up the original delayed harvest section of the Tuck in cooperation with the annual Tuckaseigee River cleanup crew of students from Western Carolina University. We would like to thank everyone who showed up for the cleanup effort. Thank You.

The entire group of volunteers from Friends of the Great Smokies and TU members from chapters all across Western North Carolina

Steve looks as if he had quite a time retrieving the trash from this ravine so we named it in his honor promptly after his valiant effort!

This was the first litter pickup project on the NC side with Friends of the Smokies and TU groups.
